What does 3X, 5X and 10X mean?

A ChatGPT Plus account gets 225 credits every 5 hours and 7,560 every week. Pro 3X gets three times both, Power 5X five times, Max 10X ten times.

Which plan should I pick?

Casual use: Free. Heavy use on open models only: Unlimited. Need the strongest models: Pro, and move up to Power or Max if you keep hitting the limit.

How are credits counted?

Per 1,000 tokens (small chunks of words): what you send costs 1 credit, what the AI writes costs 4, and repeated text it already remembers costs 0.1. Bigger models count a little more (6.1 Sol 2×, Astra 1.5×, Sol 1.25×, Luna 1×, Reserve 0.5×). We count credits ourselves, and you can watch them live on your dashboard.

What happens when I run out?

Premium pauses until it refills. Open models and your saved chats keep working. No surprise charges.
